Ever since Samsung started launching its flagships under the S-series in 2010, the tech industry got hands on some of the most magnificent devices. Fast forward to 2018, we will see Samsung launching the ninth generation S series devices on February 25: the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Later on, they would be followed by the S9 Active. Not even the day has arrived when we will get to see Samsung making its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ official, the rumor mill emerges with news concerning the next 2019 Samsung’s flagship. The newest report from Korea indicates that the Galaxy S9 this year might be the last flagship from Samsung’s S-series and hence, one should not expect a Samsung Galaxy S10.

The South Korean tech conglomerate will adopt a new naming strategy and due to this change in scheme, Samsung Galaxy S10 is in the dark. Speaking accurately, the S series is anticipated to get renamed. There are possibilities for Samsung to change the name to Samsung Galaxy X. While it would be an accurate answer to Apple’s iPhone X, there are tech geeks who don’t expect any change it the naming scheme. However, to avoid long names like Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S11, Galaxy S12 and so on, Samsung is bound to change its flagship’s name. Several anticipations and news have surfaced online which indicate that Samsung Galaxy X will be the first and foremost foldable smartphone from the Korean tech giant. Does this mean that Samsung is focussing to replace the Galaxy S10 with Galaxy X?

If this is what Samsung is up with, one may expect an early launch of Samsung Galaxy X, as Samsung is working on the device for a very long time. So expecting an early launch of the device wouldn’t be an inappropriate idea. While the rumor mill suggests that there wouldn’t be any Samsung Galaxy S10, the most talked about Samsung flagship devices are yet to get unveiled on February 25. Will the ninth generation Samsung flagships arrive with bells and whistles? Keep the comments section busy!
