Vivo Announces V7+ Infinite Red Limited Edition in India at Rs 22,990

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has announced the V7+ Infinite Red Limited Edition in association with renowned designer Manish Malhotra in India at a price of Rs 22,990 only. This limited edition phone would be available across all offline retailers in India and online through Amazon India with exclusive offers like free Book My Show coupons and heavy discounts on exchange with older smartphones.

The company has revealed that it wants to target the young generation in India, hence they have chosen the red color, which is also the color of love. The phone also features a heart shaped motif and would be available for purchase around Valentines Day on February 14.

Talking about the launch of the smartphone, CMO of Vivo India, Mr Kenny Zeng said “Vivo has always believed in delighting the customers with its product and design innovation. With the launch of V7+ Manish Malhotra Limited edition, we are providing an opportunity for consumers to express their love in a more elegant and captivating manner.”

The major talking point about the new smartphone is the 24 megapixel moonlight front camera with face beauty 7.0, video calling-face beauty mode, group selfies and portrait mode as well. The phone also features a 16 megapixel rear camera module with PDAF quick focus and LED flash.

The device boasts a metal unibody design  with dual U type antenna bands, which may be inspired from Apple iPhone 7. It features a 5.99-inch full HD display screen  with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Coming to the internal specifications of the phone, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 450 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU. This would become the first smartphone in India to launch with the 450 chipset. It features 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space, which is upgradable to 256GB with the help of micro-SD card. It is fueled by a 3,225 mAh battery, enough to last a day.

The device also features the face recognition technology and a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. It also supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and dual-SIM support.
