Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9 Flagship Devices will Launch Later in 2018

Recently, HMD Global which is the license holder of Nokia unveiled five new flagship devices at the MWC global event. Nokia was mainly focused on bringing Android Go edition based devices this year and hence we did not see much upgrades in the specifications of the latest announced devices.

However, there is some good news for Nokia fans as a recent report by Nokia PowerUser has claimed that the Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9 is still in works and could be unveiled together sometime later in the year. Detailed information about the specifications and features of the two devices are not available till now but the report has claimed that they could arrive with the latest specs.

The report has also revealed that the Nokia 8 Pro which is expected to arrive in August this year could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The new device is also rumored to feature a Penta-lens camera module with a rotating zoom camera mode, however, it is not confirmed by the company yet.

As per a leaked image of the Nokia 8 Pro, it could come with a fingerprint sensor that is housed just below the rear camera module. It is also rumored to arrive with 18:9 aspect ratio display screen with 3D glass back and front.

Coming to the Nokia 9, the handset could be even better than the Nokia 8 Pro. As per reports, the new flagship device could boast best-in-class camera option with a unique design. The Nokia 9 is said to even more powerful than the Nokia 8 Pro with packed features.

The Nokia 9 could arrive with 5.7-inch full HD screen and could be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset like the Nokia 8 Pro. As the Nokia 9 is a flagship device, it could be competitively priced with some exclusive features but detailed information is scarce right now.
