The latest report indicates that Vodafone has recently launched a brand new plan for the Vodafone prepaid users. However, there’s a catch: meaning, the plan has a few must-know fine prints.
Beginning with the very first one, the plan offers a 1GB daily data, but only at a 2G speed. Second, it is an exclusive plan which is only available to selected places like in Madhya Pradesh and in Chhattisgarh circles.
In addition to the availability of the data, this plan of Rs. 299 also comes with an “unlimited” voice call, however with a weekly or a daily limit. Most importantly, the calling is just limited to 250 minutes in one day, which is 1,000 minutes a week. The Rs. 299 plan offers an SMS pack of 100 texts per day with a validity of 56 days, reports BGR India.
From what we have gathered via another report, the plan is exclusive to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. But as far as speculations, this plan will soon get available for Vodafone users in circles of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, alongside other circles where Vodafone comes with a “poor 4G coverage”.
The plan is underwhelming, for it offers 2G speeds and FUP on the voice calls. Similar plans have been launched by providers like Reliance Jio, Airtel and BSNL voice calls but that too sans any daily or weekly limit. Vodafone is currently reported to work at spreading the 4G VoLTE trails all around the selected cities in India. On Monday it had announced the expansion of the Rajasthan services that will soon be available for subscribers in Jaipur as well as Jodhpur too. As far as the company’s aim is concerned, Vodafone is gearing up to make the VoLTE services available all across the country very soon.
