Moto Z3 Play Render Reveals Thin Bezel Display, Glass Back Panel and More

It has been barely a week since Motorola, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched the Moto G6 series and the Moto E5 series. Now a press render of the Moto Z3 Play has surfaced online to reveal some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone model. The render has revealed that the smartphone, which is expected to become the successor of the Moto Z2 Play, launched last year will arrive with a thin bezel display screen and a dual rear camera setup. Apart from that, it also shows a glass back panel with Pogo Pin connector to establish connectivity with Moto Mods. A leaked render of the Moto Z3 was also recently spotted online a few weeks ago.

The fresh render, which according to Android Headlines is a part of the official press material from Motorola gives us a complete look at the upcoming device. The render shows that the Moto Z3 Play will not feature a physical home button like its predecessor and will instead come with on-screen keys for navigating to the home screen. The removal of the home button means more space will be available to fit a larger display panel. The device is expected to arrive with a 6-inch full-HD+ display screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The render, however, does not show a fingerprint sensor on the front panel of the device. As per rumors, the fingerprint sensor is expected to be embedded on the power button of the Moto Z3 Play.

The render also reveals a glass back panel making it a premium looking device. The Moto Z3 Play also features a dual rear camera module with a LED flash along with the Moto brand logo and Pogo Pin connector.

As per earlier reports, the Moto Z3 Play is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB of RAM and two variants of 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage. The dual rear camera module will consist of a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an LED flash. On the front, it will feature a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies. It may be fueled by a 3,000mAh battery and is expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box.
