If you are a OnePlus fan, then we have some good news for you. The upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship device may launch sooner than expected this year. The Chinese company usually unveils its devices in the month of June every year, but for this year, the plans seem to be different. This is because the company has already revealed the first teaser of the OnePlus 6 smartphone on Twitter yesterday. It is a very short video of 4 seconds duration.
The teaser, however, does not reveal much about the smartphone but it does confirm that the upcoming device would be called OnePlus 6. The video also claims that the new phone will deliver “The Speed You Need”. Since the first teaser has already been revealed, we can expect the upcoming flagship device to be launched sooner than expected.
While there has been no confirmation from the company about the official release date, rumors are doing the rounds that the new device could be unveiled by the end of this month itself. If it turns out to be true, then the company will surely release a second longer teaser of the OnePlus before the official release. We will be keeping an eye on that. To recall, the upcoming device has already received its WiFi certification which makes us believe that the launch could take place very soon.
Talking about the specifications of the OnePlus 6, as per earlier leaks, it is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and backed up with 8GB of RAM. As per an earlier report, the smartphone could arrive in three storage variants of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
As far as the other aspects of the phone are concerned, it is likely to sport a 6.28-inch full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 X 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is also going to feature an iPhone X like notch on top.
On the camera front, the device may come with a dual rear camera module of 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensor with a dual tone LED flash. The resolution of the front camera is not known yet and it could be fueled by a 3,450 mAh Li-ion battery with the fast charging facility.
