Nokia X6 Official Renders Appear Online Before Launch on May 16

The licensee of Nokia, HMD Global is expected to launch the Nokia X6 smartphone in China on May 16. It is also expected to be made available on a global scale soon. We have already seen a leaked render of the device two weeks ago. Now, official press renders of the Nokia X6 have also surfaced courtesy on an online retailer named Suning.

The retailer is reportedly having a photo contest and the reward for the winners of the contest is going to be the Nokia X6. First spotted by nokiamob.net on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the poster reveals that the top three entries will get the bonus money of the contest along with a Nokia X6 smartphone that comes with a dual rear camera module and a fingerprint sensor on the back. To recall, the leaked render that surfaced a couple of weeks ago had also indicated the same features on the device.

According to the information available till now, the Nokia X6 is expected to come with a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a screen resolution of 1080 X 2280 pixels. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core chipset or a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The processor variant may vary according to the market where the device is launched. The smartphone may be made available in two variants in terms of the internal specifications. While one variant may arrive with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, the other variant may feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage space.

Coming to the camera department, the Nokia X6 is expected to feature two 12-megapixel sensors with CARL ZEISS lens on the rear panel accompanied by an LED flash. Specifications of the front camera along with other details like the battery capacity are still unknown. However, the smartphone is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo flavor out of the box.
