Nokia X6 Price and Specifications Leaked Just Ahead of Launch on May 16

As reported earlier, HMD Global is all set to unveil the upcoming Nokia X6 smartphone in China on May 16. It is likely to be rolled out globally soon. Live images of the device were leaked earlier revealing all the specifications and now the price of the smartphone in China and its benchmark scores have been leaked online just ahead of the launch event.

 

As per a GSMArena report, the price of the new Nokia X6 has been leaked on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. It indicates that the upcoming device is going to be a mid-range smartphone and will retail at Yuan 1499 in China, which is about Rs 15,000 in India. If the report turns out to be true, then the smartphone is set to be cheaper than the recently launched Nokia 6 92018) and the Nokia 7 Plus in India.

Apart from the price, the benchmark scores of the device have also been leaked on Geekbench. The benchmark listing also indicated that the Nokia X6 will run on Android 8.1.0 Oreo out of the box and will be powered by SDM636, which stands out to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.

Coming to the benchmark scores, the Nokia X6 got 1332 in the single-core test which is better than the Nokia 6 (2018). The listing also shows a primary memory of 5723MB which indicates that the smartphone may feature 6GB of RAM. However, as per earlier reports, the Nokia X6 was expected to arrive with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Now it remains to be seen, which of these reports turn out to be true. The smartphone will also feature a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Earlier reports also indicated that the smartphone may arrive in two processor variants of Snapdragon 636 SoC and MediaTek P60.

It was reported by NokiaPowerUser earlier that the Nokia X6 with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 636 processor may be much higher priced at Yuan 1799 in China. It also claimed that the smartphone will be launched on May 16 in China followed by a global launch later.
