The Switzerland headquartered company Garmin has launched a new smartwatch in India. Dubbed as Garmin Forerunner 645 Music, the smartwatch was unveiled for the first time at CES 2018 held in January this year and comes with integrated storage for music. Garmin also recently launched the Vivoactive 3 smartwatch that also comes with integrated music storage to listen to your favorite songs seamlessly.
The Garmin Forerunner 645 Music comes with a price tag of Rs 39,990 and is currently available through Garmin’s own e-store and Paytm Mall. One of the key features of the smartwatch is the integrated storage space that will enable the users to store up to 500 songs and listen to them directly by using a compatible Bluetooth headset. The wearable is also designed to sync music from streaming services like iHeart Radio and Deezer. Apart from the music storage facility, the Garmin Forerunner 645 smartwatch also comes with Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ technology support and is also compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The Garmin Forerunner 645 is also equipped with Garmin Pay to provide a seamless payment solution to the users using a dedicated payment wallet. Users will also get the facility of downloading watch faces, widgets and application from the ConnectIQ store to customize the device further. It is also equipped with LiveTrack that will allow the users to track the runs of their friends, access social media updates and also check emails on the smartwatch.
The Garmin Forerunner 645 is splash resistant and comes with a stainless-steel metal frame and a 1.2-inch display screen with always-on Garmin Chroma display. It is also equipped with a heart rate monitor for monitoring heartbeat rates 24X7 and can also be used to track various activities and exercises.
The Garmin Forerunner 645 smartwatch is fueled by a powerful battery that can power the device for up to 7 days with 5 hours of continuous playback in the GPS mode. It also features interchangeable bands in two color options of Black and Cerise.
