LG Q Stylus, Q Stylus+ and Q Stylus a with 6.2-inch HD Displays Launched

LG recently launched the LG G7 ThinQ followed by the LG V35 ThinQ smartphones in the market. While the LG G7 ThinQ has been rolled out in South Korea already, the LG V35 ThinQ is expected to be made available in the US this month followed by Asia and Africa. Now the company has launched a new mid-range series of handsets for the global market. Dubbed as LG Q Stylus, Q Stylus+ and Q Stylus a (aka Q Stylus Alpha), all the devices come with a stylus and boast of some premium features in spite of being mid-range handsets.

The company has announced that the three models will be available in one or more variants depending on the market. The devices will be available for a limited time starting this month in the US, followed by Asia and other regions. The color variants include Moroccan Blue, Aurora Black, and Lavender Violet. The price and availability details will be announced locally just before the rollout.

Coming to the specifications, the LG Q Stylus, Q Stylus+ and the Q Stylus a feature a 6.2-inch full HD+ FullVision displays with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core SoC clocked either at 1.5GHz or 1.8GHz depending on the region. The LG Q Stylus and the Q Stylus alpha will feature 3GB of RAM while the premium LG Q Stylus+ will feature 4GB of RAM.

On the optics front, the LG Q Stylus and Q Stylus+ come with a single rear camera of 16-megapixels with a PDAF lens. The LG Q Stylus alpha comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera. On the front, all the three models are equipped with a 5-megapixel wide angle lens for taking selfies.

The LG Q Stylus and the LG Q Stylus alpha are equipped with 32GB of inbuilt storage space, while the LG Q Stylus+ features 64GB of storage. The internal storage of all the three devices can be upgraded further with the help of a micro-SD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port.
