As per a tweet by the popular tipster, Evan Blass who goes by the name of @evleaks has tipped that the BlackBerry Ghost flagship device may sport a massive 4,000mAh battery under the hood. This would make it the first device from the Canadian company to sport such a large battery module. It may be recalled that the BlackBerry KEY2, the current flagship device from the brand sports a smaller 3,500mAh battery under the hood to power the device. If the speculation turns out to be true, then the BlackBerry Ghost may become an upgraded version of the KEY2 in India.

Apart from this fact, Blass has also said that the smartphone may arrive with a dual rear camera module with low light enhancement and optical zoom capabilities. Any of the other specifications are not known at the present time and in due course of time, they are likely to be revealed.

Talking about the design elements of the BlackBerry Ghost, previously leaked renders courtesy of Evan Blass had revealed that it will feature a tall display with very thin bezels on the sides. The smartphone is likely to run on stock Android. Apart from that, this smartphone may become an exclusive device for the Indian markets. The official name has not been revealed by the company yet.

The current flagship device, BlackBerry KEY2 was announced in June this year. The smartphone features a 4.5-inch full HD+ display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage space. It is powered by a 3,500mAh battery and runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
