Lenovo HX06 Active Smartband Launched at Rs 1,299 in India

Lenovo has launched a new budget fitness tracker smartband in India. Called Lenovo HX06 Active, the smartband features advanced fitness tracking capabilities and has been priced at Rs 1,299. It will be available exclusively via e-commerce site Flipkart in India. The smartphone is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.4 and higher and also iPhones running on iOS 9 and up.

Coming to the specifications of the band, the Lenovo HX06 sports a 0.87-inch monochrome OLED screen. It is capable of providing fitness statistics, battery level, time and date and more updates. Apart from these, the smartband comes with IP67 certification and water and dust resistivity and uses Bluetooth v4.2 to connect with smartphones. The device is powered by a Li-Po battery that can power the device for up to 8 days with a single charge.

Some of the other features that the Lenovo smartband boasts include footstep counter, calorie counter, and sleep monitor. Apart from that, it can also monitor the time spent while running, swimming or cycling very effectively. However, the device lacks a heart rate monitor probably because it a budget offering from the company. The device also features an anti-sleep system that can be used to make you stay awake for certain duration of time. The device will alert you whenever you fall asleep by small vibrations that can be programmed by the user.

In addition to all these features, Lenovo has also added some more functionalities like caller information reminder and alarm clock. The device also boasts USB charging capabilities. It is made up of tough silicone material that can resist accidental drops. It also features one-touch social media buttons for sharing your fitness goals and stats. The company is also providing a 1-year international warranty on the device as per the listing on the Flipkart landing page.
