Moto E5 Plus to Launch in India on July 10 as Amazon Exclusive

Chinese smartphone maker Motorola will launch the Moto E5 Plus in India on July 10. The company has confirmed the news via a teaser and also said that it will be available exclusively via e-commerce site Amazon. Last week, the company revealed for the first time that it is bringing the Moto E5 Plus in India. Some of the major highlights of the device include a large battery and display panel. The device was first launched alongside the Moto E5 and the Moto E5 Play in Brazil back in April.

The Moto E5 Plus will be an Amazon Exclusive in the country just like the Moto G6 series that was launched a few weeks ago. The sales page of the device is now live on Amazon India and interested buyers can click on the “Notify Me” option on the page. The Moto E5 Plus will be available in gold and black color variants in India and a major highlight of the device is the massive 5,000mAh battery that should easily last through a day or two. The phone also boasts the Turbo Charging facility for quick charging of the battery.

To recall, the Moto E5 Plus was launched was a price tag of EUR 169 which is approximately Rs 13,500. However, the smartphone is expected to be priced lower in India due to the stiff competition in the Indian market. The device features a 6-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1440 X 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel with the Motorola brand logo just below it. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU, the smartphone features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage space.

On the optics front, it features a 12-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling. Connectivity options in the smartphone include USB Type-C port, WiFi, 4G VoLTE, and Bluetooth. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
