Samsung Galaxy On6 with Infinity Display and More Launched in India at Rs 14,490

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy On6 mid-range device in India after weeks of speculations and rumors. The latest entrant in the Samsung Galaxy On series of devices features an Infinity Display that is touted to offer 15% more display area without increasing the overall screen size. Some of the other features include 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen and a selfie camera that is supported by an LED flash. The smartphone also features very thin bezels on the sides.

Talking about the price of the Samsung Galaxy On6, the company has set a price of Rs 14,490 and the device will be available exclusively via Flipkart and Samsung online store starting from July 5. The company is also providing a bunch of offers to the people who want to get their hands on the device. It is providing a complete mobile protection plan for free along with no cost easy EMI of Rs 1,610 and some exchange offers as well. In addition, Jio customers willing to buy this smartphone will get a cashback of Rs 2,750 on their MyJio account after recharging with Rs 198 or Rs 299 plans. Jio customers would also receive double data offers on the first four recharges of Rs 198 or Rs 299.

Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy On6 features a 5.6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC that is clocked at 1.6GHz. The smartphone boasts 4GB of RAM coupled with Mali T830 MP1 GPU. On the imaging front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel sensor that is supported by an LED flash on the rear panel. On the front, the device features an 8-megapixel sensor accompanied by an LED flash for taking clearer selfies and video calling.

In terms of device storage, the phone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage space that can be further upgraded with the help of a micro-SD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. Powered by a 3,000mAh battery the smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
