Bose QC35 II Headphones Get Amazon Alexa Support After Latest Update

Bose QC35 II which is the latest entrant in the company’s lineup of QuietComfort noise cancellation headphones has not received Amazon Alexa integration via a new update. This will enable the users to use Amazon Alexa with voice commands. The headphones were first unveiled in September last year with a dedicated action button to launch Google Assistant. Now that same action button can be used to launch Amazon Alexa as well. To get the new feature, the users need to update Bose Connect app to the latest version and also install a new firmware update. Bose QC32 II headphones are available in India at a price of Rs 29,363.

To enable Alexa on the Bose QC35 II headphones, you need to first update the Bose Connect app to the latest version from Google Play or Apple App store. After that, you need to install the latest firmware update available from the Bose Connect app. After that, you will be able to see the Amazon Alexa option under the “My Options” section on the Bose Connect App. Notably, if you have not installed the Amazon Alexa app on your device, the Bose Connect app will prompt you to install the app first. Once the installation is completed, you will be able to launch Amazon Alexa using the action button on the Bose QC35 II headphones.

With the arrival of the new feature, the action button on the Bose QC35 II headphones can be used to perform three functions; launch Alexa or Google Assistant and adjust the noise cancellation settings on the headphones from high to low or completely disable the feature.
