Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Available for Purchase in India from Today

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is now available for purchase in India. The smartphone will go to sale in the country for the first time today. Notably, the device was launched in the country earlier this week. Samsung had unveiled the smartphone in its home country last week and it becomes the first smartphone from the South Korean giant to feature a triple rear camera module. Some of the other specifications of the smartphone include a 6-inch full HD+ display, 24-megapixel selfie camera, side mounted fingerprint sensor and more. The Galaxy A7 (2018) will go to sale via Flipkart and Samsung online store at 2 pm IST and it will be available via offline channels from September 29 onwards.

Coming to the price, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) carries a price tag of Rs 23,990 for the 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage space. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage will cots Rs 28,990. HDFC Bank credit and debit cardholders will get an instant cashback of Rs 2,000 on purchasing the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). The smartphone is available in three color options of Gold Millennial, Premium Black and Striking Blue.

To recall the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a resolution of 1080 X 2220 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.0 on top and is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7885 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. The device is available in two variants of 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage.

On the optics front, the device features a triple rear camera module comprising of a 24-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it features a 24-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and is accompanied by a LED flash.

Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC with Samsung Pay support and 3.5mm headphone jack. Powered by a 3,300mAh battery under the hood, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
