Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ with Android 8.1 Oreo and Infinity Displays Launched

Samsung has finally launched two mid-range smartphones dubbed as Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ in India. The phones were leaked via renders in the previous weeks and there were a plethora of reports about the possible specifications of the two smartphones. Both the smartphones sport large 6-inch HD+ Infinity displays with a large battery unit on the back. Both of them run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and the Samsung Galaxy J6+ also features a side mounted fingerprint sensor for the first time.

Coming to the price, the details are yet to be shared by Samsung and we are expecting an update in this regard in the coming days. As per an earlier report, the smartphones are expected to cost anywhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000. There is no information about the availability of these devices in India either. The Samsung Galaxy J6+ will arrive in Black, Grey and Red color options, while the Samsung Galaxy J4+ will be available in Black, Gold and Pink options.

Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus features a 6-inch HD+ Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of inbuilt storage space. On the optics front, the Samsung Galaxy J4+ sports a single 13-megapixel sensor on the rear with an LED flash and on the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies. Powered by a 3,300mAh battery, the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus on the other hand also features a 6-inch Hd+ Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage space. On the optics front, the smartphones feature a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel sensor. Powered by the same 3,300mAh battery, the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
