Google Gboard Gets New Emoji Sticker Packs on Android and iOS Platforms

Google had earlier introduced personalized Minis selfie stickers to Gboard and now it has introduced a new emoji pack for the users. Gboard minis can now recreate your face in a range of emoji style expressions which means you can now create mini custom emojis of yourself to express yourself better in conversations. In addition to the Bold Minis and Sweet Minis, a new sticker pack called Emoji Minis is now available for all the users.

Google brings new sticker packs to Gboard

This sticker pack actually transforms your face into customizable emoji stickers. It is being rolled out to both Android and iOS versions and users who want to check out the new stickers should update the Gboard app to the latest version. The Emoji Mini Stickers pack is essentially a sticker version of all the emojis that you use every day but it resembles your face more.

After updating the Gboard app to the latest version, you can head to the stickers section to find the new Emoji Mini stickers pack. Once you find it, you can tap on create, click a selfie and then Gboard will automatically customize and create the emoji pack for you. It is to be noted that this emoji pack is customizable according to your preferences and it includes a host of emoji stickers like crying emoji, laughing emoji, love emoji, etc.

“Minis use a combination of machine learning and artistry to create illustrated stickers based on your selfie…. After you take a selfie, emoji Minis use Google’s machine learning algorithms, known as neural networks, to suggest a skin tone, hairstyle and accessories that you can fine tune. Then, you choose a color for your hair, facial hair or different types of head coverings and eyewear. Add freckles or wrinkles-a little or a lot if you’d like. Design your Minis so they resemble what you look like in your eyes or in your mind”, Google posted on its official blog.
