Alongside the Google Pixel flagship smartphones, the search giant has also launched its new wired headphones called Google Pixel USB-C Earbuds. The new headphones feature USB Type-C port and adjustable fabric loops to fit in your ears comfortably. The headphones also come with a separate remote control that features a microphone, volume, audio and call controls. A dedicated button has also been provided on the remote control that can be used to launch Google Assistant on Pixel devices. Pixel USB-C earbuds come bundled in the box of Google Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL.
The design of the Google Pixel USB-C earbuds is similar to the Pixel buds and was silently launched by Google alongside the Pixel series of smartphones. The headphones are made up of polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane materials with an adjustable fabric loop to fit in each ear comfortably. The presence of the USB Type-C port also enables the earbuds to deliver 24-bit digital audio on the go. Google has also provided a separate remote control for adjusting volume and call controls with a dedicated Google Assistant button.
You can launch Google Assistant on your Pixel device by pressing the dedicated button on the remote control. You can also press the volume up button to listen to the latest notifications on your Google Pixel device. Currently, there are over 40 languages available for in-ear help directly through Google Translate.
The Google Pixel USB-C earbuds are now available for purchase in the US for $30 which is slightly more than the OnePlus Type-C Bullets that will be available alongside the OnePlus 6T. The price of the Google Pixel USB-C in India is yet to be revealed by the company and it is available only in one color variant of White. A Grey color variant of the earbuds which would be compatible with the Charcoal variant of Google Pixel 3 is expected to hit the markets soon.
