Huawei Mate 20 Pro with Triple Rear Cameras and in-display Fingerprint Sensor Goes to Sale in India

The much anticipated Huawei Mate 20 Pro is now available for purchase in India from today exclusively for Amazon Prime members. All other customers will be available to purchase the handset from Amazon from tomorrow, December 4. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro was launched in the country earlier this week and the key specifications include an in-display fingerprint scanner, latest 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980SoC, triple camera setup, and Android 9 Pie.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro price in India has been set at Rs 69,990 for the 6GB RAM variant which is the only one currently available in the country. Color options of the smartphone include Emerald Green and Twilight and the smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon India. As a part of a limited period launch offer, users can purchase the Sennheiser PXC 550 wireless headphones along with the smartphone at a combined price of Rs 71,990.

Other launch offers include a 20 percent bill rental discount per month for 12 months on Vodafone Idea Red postpaid rental plans of Rs 499 and above. Additional data of up to 1.1GB per day can also be obtained by Vodafone Idea subscribers for recharges worth Rs 199 and above.

Coming to the specifications, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a 6.39-inch QHD+ curved OLED display panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio display. It is powered by Huawei in-house Kirin 980 SoC coupled with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of inbuilt storage space. The internal storage is further upgradable to a maximum of 256GB with a nano-memory card chip

On the optics front, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a triple rear camera setup with a 40-megapixel primary sensor, 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and an 8-megapixel 3X telephoto lens. On the front, it features a 24-megapixel RGB sensor with 3D facial unlocking. It is powered by a 4,200mAh battery under the hood and the smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
