Microsoft Surface Go Available For Preorder in India

Microsoft has launched Surface Go devices in India with a starting price of Rs. 38,599 and initiate a market competition with Apple iPad Pro and Galaxy Tab S4. Consumers can prebook the devices from Flipkart.

Coming to the features of the device. It weighs 1.15 pounds while just 8.3 mm in thickness. Size of the screen is 10 inch. The 4GB RAM variant with 64 GB storage option is tagged with Rs. 38599 while the 8 GB RAM with 128 GB variant is available at Rs. 50999.

The premium black cover case will cost you Rs. 8699 and the signature type cover will incur Rs. 11799 extra from your pocket. In India, this device has launched in late while it launched globally a few months ago.

The device is powered by a 7th generation Intel Pentium Gold Processor aka 4415Y and the battery backup is typical that provides up to 3 hours of battery life without being connected to the charging port. The screen and covers are scratchproof by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.  There’s a USB-C 3.1 for data transfer and charging and at the bottom portion, a microSD card reader fulfills the criteria of a device with modern connectivity. An option for a headphone jack is also there.

It’s fueled by Windows 10 basic version and you may miss many features that you are used to within the professional versions like live screen recording and screen sharing. But on Surface Go users need to get the best screen recorder like Movavi for that purpose.

A new surface PEN with 4096 levels pressures sensitivity and 3:2 PixelSense calibrated display is enough to project a school book page properly with exact rendering.

Surprisingly, it features 5 MP HD cam and an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus feature for perfect video calling.
