Nokia 8.1 is being released officially today in India. There’re a lot of updates about this phone for last a few weeks. The design and the specs really show its resemblance with Nokia 7X. Experts dubbed Nokia 8.1 as a fully rebranded phone of Nokia 7X.
It got an official price tag of Rs. 26999 in India and it’s launched globally in Dubai first hardly a few weeks ago. Though the overall specs are very similar to the Nokia 7X while the price is Rs. 1000 higher than the previous one, Nokia 7.1!
This phone will be available through Amazon and Nokia’s official website, Nokia.com while Nokia has planned to push the sales through offline stores too.

Let’s have a quick check on the features and specs it’s offering. It weighs 180 gms which is a bit high than other phones in this range. On the top is sports 6.18 full HD display with a 2.5 D glass protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass. It houses a powerful Corning® Gorilla® Glass Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 coupled with Adreno 616 GPU for better graphics experience. For smooth multitasking, it got 4 GB LPPDDR4x RAM.
Though it’s providing 32, 64 GB flash storage, users can expand it up to 256 GB! On the camera front, it got 12 MP 1/2.55’’ attached with 1.4um pixels, OIS 2PD and other one is 13 MP FF adaptive while the selfie 20 MP FF/0.9um with Dual Hi-Cri flash for the classy selfies. On the other front like connectivities, it has VoLTE, VoWiFi, WiFi b/g/n and the latest Bluetooth® 5.0, on the top it has 3.5 mm connector and at the bottom a USB Type-C 2.0 port.
