Samsung Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J8 Receives Price Cut in India

The Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy J8 have received price cuts in India and are now available at a much lower price tag. After the price cut, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ is now available for Rs 14,490 while the Samsung Galaxy J8 is now available for Rs 15,990. Both Samsung models feature 18.5:9 aspect ratio displays and dual rear camera setups. Both the models also come with Samsung Experience UX on top on Android Oreo.

After the new price cut, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ that was launched with a price tag of Rs 15,990 is now available for Rs 14,490. The Samsung Galaxy J8, on the other hand, was launched at Rs 18,990 and is now available for Rs 15,990. The latest price drops were first reported by Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom on Twitter. The new price has been listed on Amazon India and Flipkart while the official Samsung eStore is yet to update the same.

To recall the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J6+ features a 6-inch full HD+ Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it features a 24-megapixel sensor for selfies. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo out of the box.

To recall the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J8, it features a 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. It features a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it features another 16-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage space which is further upgradable with a micro-SD card up to a maximum of 256GB. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, and a proximity sensor. Powered by a 3,500mAh battery under the hood, the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
