Mi A1 which was released a year ago and Redmi 5 which has crossed over nine months since it released are going to receive dual 4G LTE support with an OTA update. Both the devices are well compatible for 4G LTE support and these are the most sold phones in India in the last year so it’s very easily understood that depending upon these phones Xiaomi has risen at the first place in selling phones in India.
4G VoLTE is one of the most asked features nowadays in India especially after the introduction of JIO in the Indian telecom industry.
Hardly a month ago, A1 received Android Pie beta update and right now it’s being updated to the stable version of Android Pie that gets around 1075 MB and ultimately receives a new OS version from all nook and corners. Apart from these, there’re some more features that are going to come with the update. The updates are-
FM Radio, adaptive battery, and brightness and a whole new navigation panel with a lot of options. It includes the security update of December and dual 4G VoLTE function.
On the other hand, for Redmi 5, it’s going to get the security patch and update for dual 4G VoLTE support with the updates of Global MIUI 10 Beta update.
