Like many other companies, Nokia has also tied up with Google’s Android One program, under which it will start releasing affordable smartphones. Nokia 2.2 is the latest addition to this group. It’s aimed to capture the huge entry-level market of the Indian smartphone industry. Nokia 2.2 will get all the firmware updates directly from Google’s server for the next two years uninterruptedly. It’s a big deal. The firmware is a stock Android. Nokia 2.2 is going to be released after a week in India along with Nokia’s new sensation, Nokia 9 aka pureview which got a rear camera equipped with 5 different lenses.
The rear side that attracted us a lot is made of a glass finish while having engrossment of the Nokia branding and the branding of Android one program as well.
The model no of this device is TA-1183 and it has got BIS certification recently. The device will be available in two different RAM and flash storage option probably. The first one is the 2 GB and 3 GB RAM variant while in case of flash storage it has 16 GB and 32 GB options as well. A 12 MP primary shooter will be there for moment capturing though we are not sure about the selfie camera till now.
The MRP of this device will be around Rs. 7000 more or less.
