Leaked Image Confirms that Moto X 4th Gen will sport Fingerprint Sensor & Heat Pipe

Lenovo owned Motorola’s next-generation Moto X smartphone is still far away from unveiling but this haven’t stopped the rumor mill from buzzing .A recent leaked image indicates that Motorola’s fourth-generation handset Moto X, may come with a heat pipe for passive cooling at the back panel, and will also flaunt a metal frame design. Also the tipster claims that the company may finally sport a fingerprint scanner to its latest fourth generation Moto X handset which is expected to launch next year.

The Chinese technological website TechWeb also claims that the Motorala Moto X 4th Gen will feature the latest chipset of Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 820 processor instead of Snapdragon 810 processor to get rid of the heating issues from which company’s previous handsets were suffered. Keeping Snapdragon 810 chipset’s performance in mind, it is understandable that the company is not taking any risk with the upcoming flagship device and thus opting for a better processor accompanied by a heat pipe placed under the hood at the rear for advanced cooling technology. If this rumor turns out to be true, Motorola will follow the path of Microsoft and Sony which introduced the liquid cooling technology on the Lumia 950 XL and Xperia Z5 Premium to cool down the entrails of the smartphone, especially the chipset components.

Not only that, another rumor suggest that the latest Moto X (4th Gen) will sport a fingerprint scanner and comes with a full metal unibody. Unfortunately, as there is scarce in resources we are not entirely sure whether the fingerprint recognition technology will be placed on the front panel or at the rear panel of the handset. The leaked image also confirms that the Motorola Moto X 4th Gen will sport a metal band around the body. But as the back panel has been taken off in the image we are not completely confident whether the handset will feature the same all metal body or not.
