Asus ZenFone Zoom is indeed a delight for the shutterbugs. It is going to be the thinnest phone to be featured with 3X optical zoom. Though the phone will only sport a 13 mega pixel rear camera (there are smartphones with 21 MP rear camera too) but the real catch of this handset is it will feature a 10-element lens assembly. This 10 element lens assembly is really unique as most of the phones this days come with a 5-element lenses. Even the high budget smartphones and the iPhones come with a 5-element lenses. The handset is also stuffed with Asus’s Pixelmaster technology that assists in capturing better images in very low light conditions. Asus has also given stress on “To see the world upclose” and thus put the macro image taking capabilities in this imaging-masterpiece smartphone.
Asus ZenFone Zoom will be launched in two variants-one with an Intel Atom Quad Core Z3590 (up to 2 cores running at 2.5GHz) and another with an Intel Atom Quad Core Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz.Though we are not completely sure, which variant will hit to the Indian market. Besides that, the smartphone will flaunt a 5.5-inch 1080p FHD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and will provide a 4GB RAM for its users. The ZenFone Zoom will be powered with a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities and will run on Android Lollipop with the ZenUI running on top of it.
The brand new imaging beast Asus ZenFone will also offer its customers a minimum of 64 GB of internal storage capacity with further extension capability up to 128 GB via a microSD 2.0 card slot.
