Zopo Speed 7C and Speed 8 Unveiled at MWC 2016

Zopo launched two new Speed-series smartphones – named Speed 7C and Speed 8 at the Mobile World Conference (MWC) 2016. The company boosts that the Speed 8  is the first smartphone that features deca-core Helio X20 MediaTek SoC. Helio X20 MediaTek SoC is the first deca-core processor which is equivalent to 10 CPU cores.  The Chinese company, Shenzhen ZOPO Communication is known for designing, manufacturing, marketing of mobile intelligent terminal products. It’s worth noting that Zopo smartphones have launched in the Indian market, making Zoho the second Chinese company to dig its root in the Indian market. The Speed-series has a number of amazing features to offer, all of which we’ll be discussing right here. As of now, no price as such has been mentioned.

The Speed 7C, has got 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels which comes coupled with a PPI of 293 pixels per inch. The device is powered by the powerful quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor that has got 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space which can be expanded up to 64GB via a micro SD card. The Zopo Speed 7C comes packed with a 5-megapixel front camera and a powerful  13.2-megapixel back camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture sensor, and OmniVision.

The handset runs on Android 5.1 and measures something like 146.10 x 70.60 x 8.65 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 136.00 grams. Zopo Speed 7C is powered by a 2500mAh removable battery. There’s slot for dual Micro-SIM (GSM and GSM). As far as connectivity is concerned the handset supports  3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope. The Zopo Speed 7C will be available in Phoenix , Black Apricot, Ebony, and Bamboo back cover models.

We come down to the next Speed smartphone – the Zoho Speed 8. Its packed with a 5.5″ IPS 1080p display, 1080 x 1920 resolution that comes with a pixel density of 400ppi. As for the camera, Speed 8 offers 8-megapixel front camera and 21-megapixel rear-camera with Sony IMX230 sensor and LED flash. Like we mentioned above, the handset runs on deca-core Helio X20 MediaTek SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Speed 8 runs on Android 6.0 and measures something like 152.50 x 76.30 x 9.80 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 136.00 grams. Its powered by a 3600mAh non removable battery. The handset supports dual Micro-SIM (GSM and GSM). The connectivity options of Speed 8 includes 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and sensors like Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Proximity sensor.
