Docoss X1 Launches Smartphone at Rs. 888, Reminds of Freedom 251

Just like Ringing Bells, Docoss Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. is stealing headlines with their super cheap smartphone, priced at Rs. 888. The device has got 4-inch (with 400×480 pixels resolution) display and claims to come 3G-ready. The company has announced that pre-orders begins on 29th and the shipping will begin four days later on 2nd May. Docoss X1 is available in their official website.

Talking of specification, its pretty similar to Freedom 251. Docoss X1 offers dual-SIM supports but is a little low in terms of rear camera and resolution screen. Compressed to Freedom, X1’s 4GB internal storage is a bit low but then again you do get to expand your external memory via a microSD card. In the camera front, users get a 2.0MP camera on the back and 0.3MP (VGA) unit on the front. The smartphone is supported with Android 4.4 KitKat and as an added bonus, users will have a one year warranty. The device comes with the basic features like web browsing, Facebook, WhatsApp and connectivity options like GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-F, Bluetooth etc. Moreover, Docoss X1 is backed by a 1,300mAh battery.

As unbelievable as it sounds, the device is available under Rs. 1000. But then again we’ll remind you of the Freedom 215 fiasco and would advice you to buy cautiously.
