Karbonn Launches Phones with VR Headsets in India

Karbonn has unveiled two smartphones called Karbonn Quattro L52 and Karbonn Titanium Mach Six with the VR headsets. The price of the two phones are Rs. 8,790 and Rs. 7,490 respectively. Karbonn’s Titanium series have been ruling the Smartphone market of India for a long time and then the company faced a stiff competition by the international ones. It seems that the company is again coming back with exciting features.

Now before the phones let us just check what the VR Headset of Karbonn is all about. According to the company claims, the virtual reality (VR) headset is made of sturdy ABS plastic fiber that can offer an “enhanced life-like viewing experience.” So we can atleast take a guess that how much superb will the sound quality be.

The domestic smartphone maker also says that the VR headset comes with bi-convex lenses which augment a video to provide a theatre-like experience. The another interesting thing is that Karbonn Quattro L52 and Titanium Mach Six come pre-installed with a VR app which will allow users to create their own VR videos.

Now as far as the specifications of the smartphones are concerned, the Karbonn Quattro L52 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, which means that on the ground of display, the phone is a competition to S7 Edge, but at a low price. As for the processor, the phone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with a 2GB RAM for smooth operation. The inbuilt memory is 16 GB and can be expanded upto 32GB. It has a rear camera of 8MP with Sony sensor and the front camera is of 5MP. The phone packs 2250mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 300 hours.

The Karbonn Titanium Mach Six features a 6-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. As for the RAM it features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage and is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It bears a large 3300mAh battery. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Titanium Mach Six has rear camera of 8 MP and a 3.2-megapixel front camera. It supports dual-SIM and comes with 3G connectivity support. However the biggest drawback about Titanium Mach Six doesn’t support 4G LTE.

So we hope that both the phones with the latest technical enhancement, will do better than the previous phones of the company like Karbonn Alpha A114.
