Samsung has launched Galaxy J3 smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs 8,990. The device was unveiled last year in china and comes in the gold, black and white colour options. Starting from today, the handset is going to be exclusively available on Snapdeal.
Galaxy J3 comes with something called the ‘bike mode’ specially designed for bikers. It basically offers distraction free rides by enabling the smartphones to automatically reply to calls via pre-recorded messages. Its worth mentioning that the messages can be pre-recorded in 14 different languages. Also the rider has the option to mark certain contacts as significant, so as to be notified when those important people try to connect.

Down to features, the devices offers 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display with slim bezels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor that comes coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The device includes 16GB of internal memory storage which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card. J3 features the Samsung TouchWiz UI on top and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Speaking of camera, the handset offers 5-megapixel front-facing camera 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash. The connectivity options include Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G (with support for Indian 4G bands) and Micro-USB. The device is backed by 2600mAh battery. Galaxy J3 measures 142.3x71x7.9mm and weighs 138 grams.
