Coolpad has done it again. They’ve launched another variant of Note 3, called the Coolpad Note 3 Plus in India. The device is available in only Gold and White colour variants and is priced at Rs. 8,999. Interested buyers can head to Amazon India on May 13th to book the handset.
Its worth noting that unlike Coolpad’s predecessor that featured 720 x 1280 pixel display, this Note 3 sports a a full High Definition 1080 x 1920 pixel display. The handset bears a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display. The Coolpad runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 SoC that comes coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device supports dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM) as well as fingerprint sensor. It comes with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card.

The device measures 151 x 77 x 9.3mm and weighs a bit more than the previous version of Coolpad Note 3. Speaking of the camera, the handset features a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. Sensors like gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity and ambient light are available. And as far as connectivity is concerned, Note 3 supports Bluetooth v4.0, 3G, 4G (with support for Indian LTE band), FM Radio, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n etc.

To recall, in January this year Coolpad Note 3 Lite, the basic variant of the smartphone was launched. The original Coolpad Note 3 was launched at the same price – Rs. 8,999, last year in October. Presently the device is available at lower price (Rs. 8,499) probably because of the launch of the new variant.
