Acer launches two new smartphones Acer Liquid Z6 & Acer Liquid Z6 Plus at the IFA 2016

Acer has rocked the IFA 2016 event as the company is has unveiled two brand new smartphones, the Liquid Z6 and the Liquid Z6 Plus along with the Iconia Talk S tablet. Apart from these devices, expand the Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics company has also launched a new range of laptops, the new pet accessory line, the new curved Predator monitors, and the new Chromebook R13. The two smartphones Acer Liquid Z6 and the Liquid Z6 Plus are scheduled to hit the market shelves in November and December respectively, while the Iconia Talk S tablet will be available for purchase from the next month.

All the devices launched at IFA 2016 are available in the Europe, Africa and the Middle East region only for the time being. The Iconia Talk S tablet is priced at EUR 169 (almost Rs. 12,600) whereas the Liquid Z6 Plus is priced at EUR 250 (almost Rs. 18,600) and the Liquid Z6 is priced at EUR 119 (almost Rs. 8,900).

Talking about the specifications, The Acer Liquid Z6 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The entry-level smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood, the Liquid Z6 comes packed with a 64-bit 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The handset offers the users 8GB of internal storage, with the capability of expanding further through a microSD slot. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, supports 4G LTE, powered by a 2000mAh battery and measures 145.5×72.5×8.5mm dimension wise.

Acer Liquid Z6 Features

The bigger version of the Liquid Z6, the Liquid Z6 Plus flaunts a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D protection and 1080×1920 pixel resolution.The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of DDR3 RAM. Moreover the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage with the capability of further expanding up to 128GB via a microSD slot.On the camera front, the brand new smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera accompanied with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Liquid Z6 Plus comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner under the home button, runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, powered by a 4080mAh battery, and supports 4G LTE. Moreover, the handset measures 153.6×75.4×8.5mm, and weighs 168 grams.
