LG has got an upcoming event set in San Francisco on September 6th for the launch of LG V20. As for now, we are not aware of too many details regarding the device; only rumors.
Over the past few weeks, reports have emerged regarding what LG V20 has to offer. It’ll feature a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It’ll be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU and will come paired with 4GB of RAM. LG V20 is the first phone that has been announced with Android v7.0 Nougat right out of the box. It’ll have Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed. The primary camera will be 20-megapixels, while the front snapper will be 8-megapixels. The LG V20 will also feature a fingerprint scanner and will be backed by a 4000 mAh battery.
Only a couple of weeks back, LG said that with the successor of LG V10, they hope will improve the company’s sale and improve its third quarter earnings for the current fiscal year. “We are excited to offer the first phone in the world to feature Nougat out of the box,” said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company. “The LG V20 upgrades and extends its predecessor’s cutting-edge multimedia features a step further, providing distinctive mobile experience and sets a new standard for premium phones for consumers.”

LG has planned a 4-day event in San Francisco for September 6. But the device not hit the stores until sometime later in September, allowing Google to officially unveil Android Nougat. Speaking of the cost of the device, there has been no official confirmation. The V10 was anything but cheap, coming at US$700. Although it didn’t launch in the UK or Australia, but had it done the price would be something around £600/AU$1,100. So we think the successor – LG V20 will cost nothing short of US$600.
