Google Nexus 7 (2016) Will House 4GB RAM and 5,100 mAh Battery

Google is gearing up to launch its next variant of the Nexus tablet in collaboration with Huawei, the Nexus 7 (2016) later this year after recently rolling out its latest OS, Android 7.0 Nougat with tablet supporting features. The Google has been very tight-lipped about its upcoming Google Nexus 7 2016, but there have been rumours that  Google will start taking pre-orders in the US the same day it is revealed.

The Nexus 7 2016 will reportedly be launched in two different variants- Pixel and Pixel XL. Evan Blass, a famed leaker about everything related to smartphones, suggested that the upcoming Nexus 7 2016 tablet will sport 4 GB of RAM and posted that the device will come with a 7-inch display.

Google Nexus 7 (2016) Features & Specifications

The Google Nexus 7 might have a 7-inch screen with AMOLED Quad display panel. Nexus Pixel and Pixel XL will sport a 2560 x 1440 pixels and 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. The Nexus 7 2016 model tablet is going to possibly run using Qualcomm’s current-generation Snapdragon chipset, the SD820 System on Chip (SoC). Its processor is said to be supported by a fairly massive 4 GB random access memory (RAM) and 64 GB of built-in storage capacity.

The 7-inch slate is likely to sport a 13MP rear-facing camera possibly packed with advanced features which have not been specified as of yet. The device will also sport a USB Type-C port, 5,100mAh battery with a Quick Charge 3.0 support and an Android 7.0 Nougat system.

It is speculated that the upcoming tablet will be unveiled together with the Nexus Marlin and Sailfish and will be launched on October 4 2016, at Google’s launch event and is expected to be available for pre-orders on the same date. There are no reports as of yet regarding the price of the phone but we are sure that we will be able to shed some light on the cost soon.
