Zen Admire Star Smartphone Launched at Rs 3,290

Zen Admire Star: Domestic mobile manufacturer Zen Mobile has launched a new affordable smartphone called the ‘Admire Star’ at Rs 3,290.

The handset features 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor that comes paired up with 512MB of RAM and 8GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It supports 5-megapixels rear camera and 1.3-megapixels front camera. The Zen Admire Star is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Regular SIMs. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

One of the highlights of the smartphone is the SOS feature that allows users to send location details to five pre-defined numbers at the time of emergency. The Zen Admire Star is backed by 2,000 mAh battery. The handset comes pre-loaded with apps like Zen App Cloud, Live TV streaming application NexGenTV, video player Vuliv, and Saavn.

“I am confident that our new addition, Admire Star, is going to be a formidable proposition with the offered features at this price point,” said Sanjay Kalirona, CEO, Zen Mobile, in a statement. The Zen Mobile is a brand of Teleecare Group that was founded in 2009 and which is distributed for mobile brands in Indian. The company manufacturers smartphones, phones, phablets and tablets. For the past few years, the majority of the devices sold by the company were feature phones. Now the company has shifted its focus to smartphones. Zen’s latest mobile launch is the Admire Star.
