Lyf Water 11 smartphone with VoLTE support launched in India at Rs. 8,199

Reliance has launched a new 4G enabled smartphone under its Lyf brand, named the Lyf Water 11, which has been listed on the company’s website at the price of INR 8,199. The new smartphone will come bundled with the Reliance Jio SIM. One of the highlights of the new smartphone is its voice over LTE, or VoLTE support, with HD voice call compatibility.

Coming to the key specifications of the Lyf Water 11, the smartphone will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735A processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD). It sports a 5-inch LCD display with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720, along with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. The smartphone will also feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The camera on the Lyf Water 11 will support a host of features including Digital Zoom 4X (for both the camera units), Multi-Angle View Mode, Auto-Scene Detection, Face Detection, Video Snapshot, and Gesture Capture. Sensors on board the new smartphone include Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor and Proximity Sensor.

The Lyf Water 11 will be a dual-SIM offering, with both SIM slots being 4G enabled. However, both SIMs will not be able to support 4G at the same. While one SIM uses 4G, the other will only be able to support 2G. The phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The device will be powered by a Li-Po 2100mAh battery, which is said to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby.

The Lyf Water 11 is a looker for its price, with a metallic body and sleek design. Its dimensions are measured at 141.5 x 70 x 71.3 mm, and the phone weighs around 134.5 g. The phone will come in only one colour variant-Rose Gold, and is expected to be available at offline stores such as Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress soon.
