It may be safe to say that smartphones today are more or less centred around the newest hype-building feature, the fingerprint scanner. Zopo‘s newest addition to its line-up of Color series smartphones, named the Zopo Color F1, is no exception to the rule. The new smartphone has recently been launched in India at the price of INR 8,890.
The Color F1 smartphone sports a metal frame which gives “the perfect in-hand feel,” which houses an efficient fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. According to Zopo, the scanner is a multitasker, with which users will be able to control their music, movies, pictures, and camera among other functions, besides the requisite unlocking function. Therefore, users can customise their choice by creating shortcuts, and thus perform a host of functions in a much easier way. For instance, the scanner allows users to select music tracks by simply tapping on it, or to play or pause videos. The scanner also lets users to quickly swipe through app windows.
Coming to the key specifications of the Color F1, the phone will be powered by an MT6580 Quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD up to 64GB). The device will run on Android 6.0 out of the box and is supported by a 2,300 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it will support GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, FM, GPS, and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) among others.
The Zopo Color F1 is equipped with an 8MP primary camera with autofocus and a 2MP front-facing snapper for selfies. Both cameras will have LED flash support.
To talk about the display, the Color F1 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display which comes with a smooth 2.5D glass screen. The phone comes in three colour options at the moment, Black, Gold and Silver, and measures 153×77.8×8.5mm in dimensions.
