Xiaomi Mi Note 2: Xiaomi is holding an event in China on October 25 where they are going to launch Mi Note 2. After months and months of leaks and speculation, the smartphone is finally launching. The latest leak hints that the handset won’t have dual-edge display, instead it’ll sport an all top display with no sensors or front camera.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced on his Weibo page that the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is in mass production. The device will come in will come in two variants. Previously we reported that Mi Note 2 launch date will be September 14. But the date came and went. Now news is that Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China on October 25, which is being speculated as the release date of Xiaomi next flagship – the Mi Note 2.
Several leaks have suggested that like the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Note 2 will sport a dual-edge screen as well as the dual-rear camera. The handset is supposed to sport 5.5-inch Oled screen and an all metal body. Some of the other rumoured features include 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage bundle variants. It might be powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset. The phone will come with USB Type-C port, 3600mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor in the front as well as two speaker grilles. The device is likely to feature 16-megapixels and 4-megapixels. And it’ll be backed by 3600 mAh battery.
