Nokia D1C Android Smartphone Photos Leaked Online: Device to run on latest Android 7.0 Nougat

There have  been a considerable amount of rumours surrounding the Nokia D1C after the device was spotted on  GFXBench, GeekBench, and AnTuTu benchmarking websites and since then speculations regarding the upcoming device have been surplus. However, earlier today, first time images of the new rumoured android device from Nokia have surfaced on Chinese social networking platform Weibo.

By the looks of it, the Nokia D1C will be launched in two different variants in the market. Of these, one will be a basic/standard model which will have a metal Frame and polycarbonate coloured back panel. The back panel will be available in Black and White colour options. Whereas the premium model, which will be available in Gold Colour, will have an all metal unibody design and will also house a fingerprint sensor in its home button.

According to the listings of the device spotted on the bench, the Nokia D1C is slated to feature a full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution)powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, which is paired with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage.

Nokia’s smartphones have always bee Windows driven and this is the first of its kind from the company to feature an Android operating system and the D1C is slated to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Camera Specifications for the upcoming Nokia D1C are sketchy as of new as some of the benchmark listings point at a 16-megapixel rear shooter while in AnTuTu it was listed with a 13-megapixel unit. The front shooter is supposed to be an 8-megapixel sensor  for selfies and video calling purposes.

The Nokia D1C will have a single sim card slot and offer other conveniences such as  Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, Accelerometer, Digital compass, Gyroscope, Proximity, Light sensor and Pedometer. Recently, Nokia had confirmed that the company will participate in the upcoming MWC 2017. Hence, the industry analysts have high expectations that new gadgets, including the Nokia D1C will be launched during the event itself.
