Samsung Galaxy Note 8: As per rumours, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is all set to hit the market in the early half of 2017. Having suffered on an unprecedented scale after the launch of Galaxy Note 7, the manufacturing unit is likely to make a good effort to compensate loyal Samsung fans with a high-end Note 8. As per Sammobile, Samsung might offer substantial discounts on the Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy Note 8 under a new compensation program for Galaxy Note 7 customers. The Note series is not being axed after all.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date:

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Features:

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to have almost the same features as that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 according to reports published by Gamenguide. The phablet might have a 6 GB or 8 GB RAM and be backed by the Snapdragon 830 processor or an Exynos processor.

Apart from these, Note 8 will likely sport the same features as Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It’ll have a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 ran on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow while the latest device might will have an upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat. The internal memory may remain at 6 GB or have an upgrade. There will be a dedicated memory card slot which might support expandability up to 256 GB. The internal storage might range from 64 GB to 128 GB. This can be speculated that the device might have at least 128 GB storage as an internal memory because Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was about to launch an upgraded version which was to have an internal storage of 128 GB but could not be turned into a reality as the bursting issues came into being.

The camera is expected to come with a dual camera lens. Even Note 7 was expected to have dual lens camera. However, Samsung gave it a skip. The screen resolution is supposed to be upgraded to 4k video display as it might facilitate in engaging VR mode.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Price:

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to go through a price hike. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was priced at $900, and it is expected to have a hike although this might discourage users. A hike in the price might just put the manufacturer on the backfoot for the previous version was quite high-priced. Another hike on that would mean that this new device will be one of the highest priced devices in the market which might put into question the affordability of the buyers. Also, rumour is that the customers in Korea who got hold of the Galaxy Note 7 might get a discount up to 50 percent while buying this latest upcoming device.

The world is expecting to get yet another sensational phablet unless another problem crops up like that of Galaxy Note 7. The prime problem in that device was suspected to be in the battery which often caught fire. Also, the buyers might also expect to get to know the reason behind such issues as well once they opt to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Hence the manufacturer might just be looking forward to bring into the market this device very early and make a mark once again. Having said all these, it must be mentioned that all these are in a state of speculation- the features, the price; and the actual configuration might only be revealed when the manufacturer releases the device in the market. As per reports from Gamenguide, the phone might not just come in the name Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in order to avoid confusion with their previous product Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.
