On the optics front, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel on the front for video calling purposes. The Rear Camera will feature live filters, HD video recording, and image stabilisation. Some of the other notable attributes are the upcoming handset’s battery pack that has a capacity of up to 4,000 mAh with Quick Charge 3.0, a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C hub. Other connectivity options of the device include GPS, VoLTE, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
