OnePlus 5 Features Leaked, Emerges As Galaxy S8’s Biggest Competitor

Leaked features of OnePlus 5, which is being dubbed as the successor of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are out, and if they turn out to be true, then Samsung Galaxy S8 might just have found their biggest competition yet. With similar features to Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, what would make OnePlus 5 more enticing to users is the fact that they would offer more or less the same features at a much lesser price.

OnePlus 5 will come with a 23 megapixels primary camera.

OnePlus 5 is the next biggest flagship Android set that is also going to compete against iPhone 8 apart from the aforementioned two giants. Among the most envious features of OnePlus 5 are its 23 megapixels primary camera, dual-edge glass body and 256 GB storage.

Similar to Galaxy 8, the back of the phone will contain the fingerprint sensor and it will not have a physical home button. But the difference would be that unlike Samsung, the OnePlus will put the fingerprint sensor in a more central position of the phone. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU and provide a 5.5-inch 2K display. With a battery of 3000 mAh, it will come with 8GB RAM, which is 2GB more than in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The latest design of OnePlus will also come with front bezels which would result in moving the fingerprint scanner to the back, as mentioned earlier. The new design will also bring a new design which is 7mm thick. The camera will also come with optical image stabilization and optical zoom, as per NDTV Gadgets

No information regarding the launch date or price has been made official as of yet, but as per industry speculations, users can expect a summer release going by OnePlus’ history. But prices are speculated to be much lesser.
