Smartisan Nut Pro Unveiled, To Come With Dual-Real Cameras

Chinese multinational technology company Smartisan has finally unveiled its latest flagship Smartisan Nut Pro at an event in China on Tuesday. Having dual-rear cameras at the top left corners which are spaced apart, the device comes in a 6.98mm thick design and weighs just 158g.

Smartisan Nut Pro is a mid-ranger device which offers premium design. It comes with a simple, yet regal design.

The device has been created from a mixture of glass and metal and is currently available in Red Wine, Carbon Black and a special edition called “Thin Red Line”.

Speaking of storage of the device, it comes in three internal storage variants – 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. All of the variants offer 4GB RAM and sports a 5.5-inch in-cell full HD display. The dual cameras in all three variants are of 13-megapixels along with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. The differences between the three of the variants lie in their processors, front-facing cameras, and some other small features.

The 32GB variant is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor while the 64GB and the 128GB variants sports by Snapdragon 626 processor. Coming to the front camera, the 32GB variant offers an 8-megapixels camera with f/2.0 sensors, while the other two variants offer 16-megapixels camera with f/2.0 sensors. NFC is only available in the 128 variant.

All three variants offer a fingerprint scanner located below the home button that can store up to ten different prints while supporting Alipay also.

Smartisan Nut Pro has a 3,500 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 and it uses a dual hybrid SIM tray. It also has Bluetooth 4.2 and supports dual band WiFi.

Coming to the price of the three variants, the 32GB version costs CNY 1,499 (which is around Rs. 14,000 in Indian value); the 64GB costs CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 16,800) and the 128GB costs CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 21,500), as per Android Headlines.

The device allows the user to take down voice notes by holding down the home button and also supports OCR (Optical Character Recognition), which allows users to convert written texts into machine-encoded texts. This comes in handy when one has to copy information from flyers, noticeboards and business cards.
