LG G6 Plus With Qi Charging & LG G6 Pro With 32GB Internal Memory Launched

South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation LG has launched two new variants of its popular smartphone LG G6 – LG G6 Plus and LG G6 Pro. Both the variants were expected to debut on June 27 but it seems like LG did not want to make its fans wait any longer.  The multi-million dollar company is known for selling different models of its flagship smartphone in different markets.

Both LG G6 Plus and LG G6 Pro come in exciting new colors such as Terra Gold, Marine Blue, and Astro Black.

LG G6 Plus is available exclusively in South Korea as of now. Its USP is its Qi charging feature. It enables us to wirelessly charge a compatible device’s battery using induction transfer, simply by placing it on top of a wireless pad and with no need for adapters or cable. It comes in three color variants – Optical Marine Blue, Optical Astro Black and Optical Terra Gold – and it’s color changes when the light is reflected on it at a certain angle. It has an internal storage capacity of 128GB

LG G Pro is also available in three color variants – Mystic White, Marina Blue and Terra Gold.

Both the devices will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and are powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC. Having 4GB of RAM, the internal storage of both the devices can be expanded to 2TB via microSD card. With 13megapixels primary camera capable of 4K video recording, LED flash, wide-angle lens and OIS 2.0; the two new models sports a 5megapixel camera. They are backed by a 3,300mAh battery having the feature of Quick Charge.

Although the prices of both these devices have not confirmed as of yet, it is being speculated that LG G6 Plus will be priced at 999,800 KRW (which is around Rs. 56,800 in Indian value), while LG G6 Pro will be priced at 799,800 KRW (approximately Rs. 45,400), as per GizmoChina.

LG G6 was officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event in February this year.
