South Korean tech giant Samsung is reported to launch its upcoming Android tablet, Galaxy Tab S3 9.7-inch in India tomorrow. The device, which was announced in February earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event, has been priced at $599.99 (which is around Rs. 39,338 in Indian value). The multi-million dollar company has sent media invites for the unveiling of the product, which will take place at Bangalore tomorrow.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7-inch supports videos in HDR (10bit colored) for true-to-life colors and vivid digital content. It sports a 9.7-inch QXGA Super AMOLED display with 2048*1536pixels screen resolution. There is a four stereo speakers setup in the device, which is tuned by AKG. Samsung has claimed that it can automatically change the direction when you switch from landscape mode to portrait mode. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
The device comes with an S Pen and Pogo keyboard cover, which you can attach to the device magnetically. The price of the keyboard accessory has been set at $129.99 (approximately Rs. 8521).
Speaking of its storage capacity, the device sports 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded to 256GB via microSD card. Running on Android 7.0 Nougat, it is backed by a 6,000mAh battery. The battery is clubbed with fast charging feature and gives 12hours of video playback. As per BGR, the physical home button of the device doubles as a fingerprint sensor, while the volume and power button are situated on the right-hand side of the device.
Coming to its camera, the device features a 13megapixel primary camera and a 5megapixel secondary camera. Its connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C and 4G LTE and WiFi. Weighing 0.43gm, the tab measures 9.34*6.65*0.24 inches. It is available in two color variants – Black and Silver.
