Moto C With 4G VoLTE Support Launched In India

Chinese multinational technology company Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility has launched its latest flagship Moto C in India at Rs. 5,999 and it will be available at all leading offline retail stores across over 100 cities in the country.

Moto C comes in two color variants – Fine Gold and Metallic Cherry.

Moto C, which was launched last month was made available in two variants – a 3G version with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage priced at EUR 89 (which is around Rs. 6,400 in Indian value) and a 4G version with 1GB RAM and internal storage priced at EUR 99 (Approximately Rs. 7,100). However, the company has launched a whole new variant for India which comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage along with 4G VoLTE support and dual-SIM (micro-SIM) card slots.

The device comes with a 5megapixel primary camera with LED flash, 1.4-micron pixel, 74-degree field of view, fixed focus and 720p video recording. It also sports a 2megapixel secondary camera with LED flash, 63-degree field of view, 1-micron pixel and fixed focus. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 5-inch FWVGA (480*854 pixels) display. It is powered by 1.1GGHz MediaTek MT6737M quadcore Cortex-A53 SoC. Its internal storage can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Moto C is backed by a 2350mAh removable battery. Measuring 145.05*73.6*9mm, the device weighs 154gm. It comes in two color variants – Fine Gold and Metallic Cherry, as per NDTV Gadget 360 Degrees.

The company has also launched Moto C Plus along with Moto C. Both the devices are very much similar in features and specification with some key differences. The differences are that Moto C Plus has a better display of 5-inch (720*1280 pixels), better RAM storage of 2GB, batter battery life of 4000mAh and better primary camera of 8megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash.

After losing $4.3 billion from 2007 to 2009, American multinational telecommunication company Motorola was divided into two independent public companies – Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions in 2011. Motorola Solutions is regarded as the direct successor to Motorola with Motorola Mobility being a spin-off. Motorola Mobility was formerly owned by Google and now currently is owned by Lenovo.
