Good news for fans of Motorola fans. If reports are correct, the new Motorola Moto C Plus is coming to Indian shores on June 19. The new device is very similar to the existing Moto C but it comes with a better HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution instead of FWVGA. The new phone will likely be a more powerful device as well.
The Moto C sells for Rs 5,999 and Motorola is also selling it offline. Both Moto C and Moto C Plus were launched last month in various countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. It is also expected that the new Moto C Plus will have a heftier price tag as well.
Moto C Plus Specs and Features
The Moto C Plus will boast a 5-inch display identical to the Moto C but with an HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution instead of FWVGA like we mentioned before, as reported by The Indian Express. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor which is paired with a Mali-T720 GPU coupled with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, probably dependent on the variant, and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The storage can also be expandable via a dedicated microSD slot (up to 32GB).
The rear or primary camera on the upcoming Moto C Plus is an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture with the front snapper being a rather low-tech 2MP camera (f/2.8 aperture). The four colour options for the new Moto C Plus are expected to be the same one we saw on the older Moto C. They are Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black.
The Moto C Plus will be powered by the bigger 4,000mAh removable battery compared to the 2350mAh battery seen on the Moto C. It will also be equipped with the superb 10W rapid charger which will be used for quick charging the battery. We expect the dual-SIM 4G VoLTE variant of Moto C Plus to launch in India. The handset will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Moto C Plus may possibly come fo a price tag of $133 or Rs 8,500, and we have marked our calendars on July 19, Monday as well.
