Another day, another Samsung Galaxy C10 leak. While we had informed you earlier that the Samsung Galaxy C10 was all set to arrive with a dual camera setup on the rear, recent leaks have informed us further of the new device’s features. The latest leaks indicate that Samsung may have incorporated a dedicated Bixby button on the device. The leaks, from a popular China-based Twitter user, also shows off the Galaxy C10’s front and rear design.
The Twitter user @mmddj_china is a noted tipster whose leaks have often turned out to be true. In this tweet, he pointed out two facts: one seemingly confirming what we had reported earlier about the dual rear cameras, and the other about the presence of a dedicated Bixby button. The dual cameras are positioned vertically while the leaked rear panel also points to the fact that the fingerprint scanner is missing. The scanner might possibly be embedded on the home button on the front.
The most important aspect is what looks suspiciously similar to a dedicated Bixby button just below the volume rocker on the side. Bixby is Samsung’s proprietary AI-based digital assistant and was launched with much fanfare earlier this year. However, Samsung is seemingly struggling with it, given that Bixby still works only in Korean, and misses the English language option.
Interestingly, the arrangement of the Bixby button is pretty similar to the design we have seen on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus. Besides, the leaked images also show off the extremely thin bezels on the device while the phone itself is slightly curved at the edges. Overall, Samsung seems to have added its flagship-style design aesthetics on this premium mid-range smartphone as well.
From previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy C10 will feature a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display. Together with the powerful and yet economical Snapdragon 660 SoC, which will be paired with 6GB RAM, we expect that Samsung may have a winner on its hands.
