Micromax Canvas 1 Specs and Features

The Micromax Canvas 1 appears to be a decent entry in the lower and mid-range budget smartphone segment, being the next device in the Canvas range, which last saw the Canvas 2 (2017) launched in May. The device boasts of a 5-inch 2.5 HD display which has an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. At the heart of the device is the quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor which has been clocked at 1.3GHz. The Canvas 1 will arrive with a decent, if slightly disappointing, 2GB of RAM which has been coupled with 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be increased up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card.

The new Micromax Canvas 1 device has also got very pedestrian camera and optics features. Onboard will be an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a 5-megapixel front snapper. Powering the device will be a 2,500 mAh battery, which, Micromax claims, will be able to offer up to 7 hours of talk time as well as 180 hours of standby time. One of the best features of the device is the fact that it runs on the latest Android Nougat OS. Other connectivity options include standard ones like Wi-Fi, micro USB, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, a micro USB 2.0 port, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack, besides the mandatory Bluetooth. With measurements of  143 x 71 x 8.3mm and weighing a mere 150 grams, we expect that the Micromax Canvas 1 will be ideal for one-handed use.
